The Earth is made up of lots of different systems that are all linked together and are all dynamic. These systems make up the earth as we know it and dictate how certain things react in response to a certain event.
The Biosphere
The Biosphere includes everything biologically living and how they grow and interact with their environment. This can be broken down into further systems such as the Pedosphere, which looks at the soil bodies of the planet, and Anthroposphere, which is humans.
Atmosphere
The Atmosphere is a body of gasses that surround the earth and has a big impact on radiation.
Hydrosphere
The Hydrosphere is the general term for anything related to water in our planet. This comes in different forms such as liquid, vapour, and ice. The hydrosphere includes water that is on the surface, underground, and in the air and atmosphere. This can be broken down further to the Cryosphere which looks at the solid water form, such as ice and snow.
Lithosphere
The Lithosphere is all of the rocks, magma and mantle that is found on and in the earth. this can be broken down further into systems such as the Geosphere which looks just at the rocks of the earth.
